This is the poem that appears at the beginning of The Witch Wars saga. Enjoy!
It's said that witches come out to play
And spirits, too, on Samhain day.
'Neath elm and oak and hawthorn trees
Dead man's bones dance in autumn's breeze.
This night the cursed come out to roam
And phantoms steal the young from home.
The sanguine moon, Death's harbinger,
Lights fleshy feast of rook and cur.
It's said this tale I tell is true,
A bloody tale it's gruesome, too!
So, pull up your candle, book and bell,
And chill your blood with a gris-gris spell.
